Fatbike Traction – Guest post article by Colin Scott

Note: RideFatbikes.com received an article written by Colin Scott at Grip Studs as a guest post.  While he covers a wide variety of fatbike traction options, he is with the company Grip Studs, so the article may have a bias toward their products (studs designed to be used with existing fatbike tires).

While we have not personally reviewed or tested these studs, and can’t vouch for them, they appear to be carefully and thoughtfully designed, and certainly offer another option in the expanding field of winter snow/ice fatbike traction solutions.

We welcome a discussion (add your comments in the comments section), posts from others who have used Grip Studs or other similar/competing products, and a dialogue from product vendors and users of the various fatbike traction options.  We thank Colin and Grip Studs for getting the dialogue started with the informative article below.
