For fatbike riders, gear is an important part of the bike adventure. Whether it’s handbuilt wheels with drilled rims, a carbon or titanium handlebar, clipless pedals that shed snow/ice, bags designed to haul gear on your fatbike on your next epic adventure, fatbike racks or mounts to transport your bike to the trail, or anything else that’s fatbike related, the Ride Fatbikes gear and reviews page is your place to read or post about your experiences with various gear.

I would like to have a ‘full wrap’ around the down tube or an adapter to have some type of shield for the down tube. I think either would be an asset to the cables down there keeping them dry. I’ve read a few complaints about people not liking the cable routing on the Salsa. I think it makes sense. If it is snowing hard, top tube cables hold snow. Actually for me, I can’t tell the dif and I’m stoked when riding any design fat bike.
Thanks, good job.

Recently discovered this blog as I hope to join the FAT ranks once I get my Pugs built! I am soliciting opinions and/or recommendations about specific components that work well such as rim/tire combinations, double vs triple cranksets, or anything else applicable to snow winter riding. Any help would greatly be appreciated. thanks
